RWA Lawyers Rebrand

RWA Lawyers Rebrand

Client: RWA Lawyers
Sector: Legal
Scope:
  • Rebrand
  • Identity
  • Website
It all started with a brand package donated by Kind Design, won by RWA Lawyers at The 2025 BrEaST Pink Breakfast Auction, an annual event hosted by the Waikato Chamber of Commerce that raises funds and awareness for the Breast Cancer Research Trust. RWA aren’t typical legal professionals; they have broken free from the stale perception of legal jargon and stuffy suits often associated with lawyers. RWA aspire to give people clarity, confidence and practical solutions, everything they need to move forward in life or business with confidence. No surprises, just transparency and trust at every step.

The Scope

RWA had a clear goal in mind: they wanted their brand to reflect their true identity, look professional, and maintain their approachable reputation. Previously known as Rachel Webster and Associates, the business had expanded to be more than just Rachel, and she knew it was time to embrace the growth and refine the brand name to RWA, a name that many had already started using. Kind Design was tasked with creating a visual identity that reflects who RWA really is. A brand with a timeless look and feel that not only portrays who the brand has become but also who they will be in the future.

The Concept

To capture the essence of RWA, we began by exploring the team’s values, competitive edge, and personality. What emerged was a brand built on honesty, grounded confidence, and a refreshingly real approach to law - no fluff, no jargon. The result is a visual identity that feels confident yet approachable, balancing professionalism with personality.

The brand kit consists of three core elements:

  • The wordmark – the letters RWA, refined and confident, capturing their professionalism and class.
  • The icon – more than a flower, it’s a symbol of precision, balance, and growth.
  • The text – clear and descriptive, offering context without clutter.

All the pieces needed to create a solid visual foundation for a growing business, ready for a high-impact identity that stands out and scales with them.

It was also important to break free from the common visuals seen in other legal practices and avoid the usual greys, golds, and navys seen too frequently in the industry. The chosen colour palette draws inspiration from nature. Featuring a soft peachy white, a mossy green, a redish clay, and charcoal. These earthy warm hues lean into the professionalism and elegance that is evident in the way RWA handle their business. A colour palette that also represents the growth they have achieved personally, and the grounded approach they provide for their clients.

The Website

With a new brand came a new website. Designed and developed using the new RWA Lawyers brand assets. The goal was to create the perfect online experience that speaks to their target market, is easy to navigate, showcases the team and services, and performs well.

The RWA Lawyers website was built with Webflow, enabling a fully customised and design-led experience that reflects the team’s modern, client-focused way of working. Unlike templated platforms with rigid structures, Webflow enables complete creative freedom, resulting in a distinctive design and an intuitive user experience across all devices. Its powerful content management system (CMS) makes it easy for the RWA team to update pages, publish articles, and showcase expertise without compromising the look or feel of the site. The result is a tailored digital experience that feels as professional and personal as the service RWA provides.

The website brings RWA’s refreshed brand to life online. Professional yet approachable, distinctive yet down to earth, and creating a cohesive digital presence that truly represents who they are.

More than a rebrand, this is a reflection of real people doing law, differently.
